The Siemens A62 has a lot to offer for everyone, who is looking for an easy-to-use yet reliable and attractive mobile phone. Controlling this elegant communication-device is as simple as it gets.
Siemens’s A62 has a standard design for this class handsets, measuring 45 x 101 x 19 mm and 76 grams. Despite the weight it has a good feel in the hand, and the good shaped plastic body and styled highlights give it an attractive and nice look. The 4096-color display is dim, not very bright and crisp, but is a far step above the very dim 256-color versions on even the most recent Siemens models. The display resolution 101 x 80 pixel is not very high but is normal for small phone like this.
The tri-band GSM Siemens A 62 is due to be released soon. Though it would be easy to get lost in the deluge of smart phones and their likes in the last quarter of 2004; the Siemens A 62 manages to hold its own. It is a no frill handset with simple functions which is exactly the USP, a plain CSTN color display with GPRS and a decent battery to boot.
